In the 65th reading competition of the Börsenverein für den Deutschen Buchhandel supported by Sparkasse Westmünsterland, Nele showed her best performance and can now take part in the district decision. A pupil from St. Georg-Gymnasium Bocholt has also progressed to the next round.
The competition took place in the district hall in Borken. The participants were first allowed to read a familiar text for three minutes. In the second round, they then read from an unknown text, here from Ross Welford's "The Magical Dreams of Malcolm Bell".
